The damage looks too much as others have said. The first set of photos did not show as much damage as I see now. Although, you may be able to place it on a frame puller just to check the frame. The rest is just bolts going into holes.

yea, that is what I thought. The area that is pushed in is in front of the engine beam, the beam seems fine. I mean I have no way to tell for sure, but only area bent looks to be in tranny area.

If you are up to it, here is how to check.

By apron, do u mean the area smashed in against tranny? cant just pull that out and be done with it?

The apron is the entire assy on the left and right side of the engine bay. This supports the suspension, left and right engine mounts... New aprons can be bought for around 400-500, maybe 1000 in installation + paint. Honestly, you could buy another one for the cost. Fucking sucks that this happened man.

It depends on if the frame is ruined or not. The rest just bolts to attachment points on the frame. Hitting a Front-engine, Front-drive (FF) car on the front-end is usually no bueno but I have seen miracles happen before.

I know you want it and it is a clean car, but if the frame is not straight, it is pointless. I would be less likely to mind certain gaps in fender areas or a completely smooth and clean car vs a fun driving car. Everyone is different, though.

If you're thinking about keeping it and are not sure if there's frame damage, get it to a body shop and have them check the frame.

I had the frame checked on my B13 before I welded in the subframe braces a few years ago, and it cost me about 100.00. It didn't seem like my car had ever been hit but it was worth it for the peace of mind, since I'm not the original owner.

In your case you can make a decision based on facts instead of second guessing later.

Well I gotta talk to my insurance first I guess. If they actually already totaled car then I really don't have a choice, b/c I am not going to get a reconstructed title for it, I am not paying for all that for what it is. But if they haven't totaled car, then I may just look for some junkyard parts and then see if the alignment is within specs, that should let me know everything I think.

Wish you luck buddy. Remember to push for every penny you can get. Then by the car back and part it out. You will make bank.

Thanks, oh yea, also, will any p10 be okay to use for parts for my 94?? Or does the suspension change over the years?
