New high quality axles, made by an aftermarket supplier of mine at my regular job.

I have Raxles on my b13 and beat the ever-loving shit out of that car every chance I get, axles are still holding on. Really well made, nice pieces. Only problem with Raxles is that last time I talked to Marty, the only way he'd make a set was to send him OEM cores first...

He may require it to be a group buy also.
He told me, the market on our axles kinda died and he would have to order parts (doesnt stock them anymore) to reman OEMs.

Thought I'd drag this back from the recent past to add a little more info to a good thread.

What happened with the sr20 axles, according to Marty: Back in the late 90s he had tons of OEM Nissan cores in stock here in Gainesville. He likes the sr20 crowd and got a lot of good business from us for years. The policy was always core charge and he would ship you out a set of Raxles with OEM nissan shafts and all new, case hardened components. As the cars got older and people bought them used, he started getting the garbage aftermarket axles coming in as cores, which can't be rebuilt with the correct parts. He became more cautious, but people insisted that the cores had to be OEM and they were mistaken, and his supply dwindled over the years.

He simply does not have OEM cores to work with anymore, and very few people out there do because most of them have been returned to auto parts stores as cores after people buy the cheap $50 brand new axles.

Last we spoke (I'm literally the only customer that ever shows up at the shop in person), he was still very interested in making us axles. He said any genuine sr20 axles that I can source would be great and valuable, so I'm sure he would set up a group buy if we could scrape together a bunch of OEM axles. He also claims that the b13 axles are stronger/thicker than the b14 axles, but that it doesn't matter unless you are making huge torque anyway.

So who has OEM Nissan half shafts laying around?

I was collecting OEM cores for a while.
I gave up on Raxles and found a place in Ocala to completely rebuild 5 pairs of OEM B13 shafts.
Same deal, all new case hardened parts, and he will only rebuild factory axles.I havent tried any yet and my cars dont make big power, but I didnt want aftermarket.
I think I have enough axles for the rest of my life now.

Cardone are new aftermarket axles. Sorry I confuse you on the second post. I just bought me a pair about 3 weeks ago Driver & Passenger side. Like I had said they are great never had a fitment issue with them and they are good quality.

hope someone can shed some light on this, i was looking through the list of cardone axles for b13 se-r and b14 model with vlsd (200sx 95-97) and cardone lists the part number 666061 (front left axle) for the b13 with 2.0L for both auto and manual, but that same number is listed for the 200sx 2.0L front left auto only, then lists the part 666172 for the front left manual trans. any reason why the b13 left axle interchanges between auto and manual but the b14 200sx has specific ones? did they build a slightly stronger one for the b14 manual? i have a b14 sentra with a b13 manual trans and i believe i have b13 axle, i know they are lsd axles for sure.

Is it Grainger? IIRC they sponsor my FSAE team and make us our custom half shafts. I also noticed they are one of the only places in the area that carries the ORIGINAL brand of parts that came on the sr20 axles.
