Thread: 1993 ser or nx2000 tps wiring

Just wondering if someone has a pic of the wiring colors and or which wire is which for the tps? Apparently mine was spliced at one point and i want to make sure i have it wired correctly.

Sorry if there is already another thread on this but i cant seem to find one after searching.

I can't remover off the top of my head, but if you search for how to set the tps sensor, the wire colors are listed.

BTW just so you know the car will drive pretty close to normal with the TPS completely disconnected, you'll just get a MIL light and the idle will act up.

No check engine light. Tps set to around .52 closed and over 4 volts wot. Idle seems pretty normal but it is still hunting around a bit yet, much better than it was. I wired it the same way i had it before and re set the tps.

Top wire on the connector is black for ground, middle wire is white and for signal to the ecu, and the bottom wire is red with a yellow stripe for power
