2003 B15 2.5L 5 Speed tranny any good?
I'm just curious if anyone ever used a 5 Speed 2.5L tranny? I heard that the 2001-2002 is the best of the 5 speeds but I haven't seen anyone talking about the 5 Speed 2.5

I asked this a few years back.
It is not LSD,and wont bolt to an SR20 block,so I dont see any real use for it.
The B15 SE trans is mated to a SR20 from the factory, and is LAD,so thats the reason its so popular(besides it being stronger than B14/B14)

What year B15 SE should I look for? Are they the same as the P11

2000-2001 SE 2.0 with Power Package is the trans you want for NA.
The 01-02 P11 trans has longer gears, and is better suited for turbo.
Both are hydraulic so need to be converted to cable,or convert your car to Hydro.
Both are stronger than the B13/B14 trans(gears, and case)
I think the 99 P11 is the older, weaker case and gears, but I am not 100% sure about that.
