VE Valve Cover PCV Outlet Mod?
Hey Guys,

I am going to be installing a VE valve cover on my DET soon and i'm wondering...is it possible to spin the WOT PCV outlet (driver's side rear) to face either down or forward to be able to route a shorter hose to my intake piping? Stock points straight back to the firewall, as that is where the hose attaches to for the VE intake. I've been looking at my spare, stock, DE valve cover and it doesn't seem like the PCV tee is able to move at all.

If any of you have done this, and I am pretty sure that i've seen it done, how did you go about changing the angle? And how did you re-seal the outlet? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Guys,

Branden

Should be able to move it to whatever position you want. I believe they are just pressed in there.

So I should be able to just spin the PCV neck around? Elbow grease only? Will it still seal? I'm thinking i am going to try this on my spare cover just to be sure i won't mess anything up and that the neck will still be sealed.

Anyone else have any thoughts?

Take a long 3/8 Socket and just spin it around. I'm running a VE valve cover on my DET too. Here is Greg's picture of my car from the convention, that should help you get an idea.

I used a little heat to get mine out, made it a little easier.
