Yeah in the 1 in 100 chance I didn't notice the second I had the problem. I know my car and how it drives. I'll most likely know when theres a problem. I pulled over and got it towed to my house the second I realized what the deal was. Ashton just wrote a few posts up he drove across the South West U.S. without his. But because I took a 3 minute video (before it even happened) I am guilty of a crime.

Obviously not since the problem was you didnt put a damn cotter pin or castle nut on there to keep the axle nut from coming off.. you could cause some serious shit like that not just to you, your friends or family but to innocent bystanders or fellow motorisits..

I really hate workin on cars after people who tend to half ass shit.. it usually results in me digging in my parts bin or going to the junkyard to get the right or unbroken part so I can do the job right an not have to worry about my friends or customers having fatal consequences, or just a bad day lol.

Do it once do it right! Sometimes learning from your mistakes can be brutal, good thing you an your car are ok an you caught it in time.. an kudos for having it towed an not risking it any further.

I once got on a highway without torquing all the lug nuts down and that was a fun time. Pulled over and was able to take lug nuts off by hand with tire on the ground lol...shit happens, give the guy a break.

Whats crazy is I never did shit to the kid/guy, and he's been on my case for nothing. I've been modding SR20DE's since 1999. I doubt he has as well. He says all my posts suck and he actually believes I would willingly and/or knowlingly drive around without the proper axle nut and pin
