car won't start
So I drove my car all day then I parked it, came out the next day and it wouldn't even try to start. so I got it on the hill and popped the clutch, then I parkd it and turned it off and it started up after that. then I let the car sit for a day came back and it wouldn't start. I popped the clutch and drove it to a buddies house where it sat for bout a half hour and then it barely stared back up. I drove it home and let it sit for a day, when I came out it barely started again but it did start. I drove it to my buddies house to replace the starter and the clutch. after we finished my car tried to start but it won't. I can't find any bad connections. ANy ideas?

Do you have the stock alarm disconnected (removed fuses or whatever)? Next time it won't start, try unlocking the driver's door with the key. It's a long story, but something like that happened to me one time.

What do you mean by, "It barely started"? Did it just turn over extremely slowly, or did it have to turn over a whole bunch of times in order to start?

Scenario A: Like they said, something is not turning off when you shut off the car.
Scenario B: If it turns over a lot with no startup, it's probably a fuel pressure regulator, bad spark, or bad timing.

Let us know which it is, and we can go from there.

it has an alarm but it's not a factory alarm. it's a 94 sentra E.

It turned over extremely slowly like it barely had enough power. I did try jumpping the car but that didn't work so I don't think it's a power issue.

Thats a clear sign of a power issue. All "power issue" means is that the starter motor isn't getting the required amount of power. This can result from a bad battery, battery drain (something left on in the car), or bad connections.

The only other alternative here is a bad starter itself.

its not a bad starter, but that's if he replaced it with a brand new one.

well I replaced it with a starter from a parts car but the parts car started no problem when it was running.
