Thread: clutch masters PP scuffed?

just received my new clutch masters fx400 and when i opened the package the pressure plate was scuffed in a few places around the outside. idk if they just set it upside down and moved it, it had a tag that said it was bolted down for testing purposes only. anyway I'm wondering if anyone else has seen this? i called and they said they only ship out new products to buyers, but didnt really have an answer for the scuffing. the friction ring, disc, and pads look fine tho, just seeing what other people have experienced with them.

yep all of my clutch masters have came like that. dont worry i freaked out the first time as well but they told me they test everything before they ship it

ok thats good to know im glad they test their clutches. if only spec would have done that i wouldnt of had to send two clutches back to them

never liked spec at all but clutch masters has a lifetime customer right here

pedal feel is like stock and im on the fx500 daily driven even taught my girl how to drive manual with it

like morgans432 said, iv heard that their fulcrum design keeps the pedal near stock feel, which will be a huge difference for me. i had jgy 6 puck before this. another crap company i recommend no one ever buy their "branded" products. the pedal was so heavy and i broke 2 cables. hoping my 3rd isnt stretched already
