I want pictures of the rear suspension!

Notice how it doesn't have a front strut bar...

A full blown cage (and what seems to be extended/heavily massaged wheel wells and heavily massage engine cradle) negate the idea of a "strut bar" it seems

Everything is tied together, so a strut bar would serve zero purpose in this case

The real question is where is the radiator, alternator, etc

Looks to be an early development SR non reverse head

They ran beams in the 1999 season. From 1996-1998, any of the P11 could have used the IRS platform which was AWD and had rear struts. They were able to squeak by using struts at the rear through the 1998 season.

EDIT: When done right, anything can happen.

This car uses a beam at the back. I've seen it up close and the rear suspension looked very impressive, though at the time I didn't really know what I was looking at. But yes, definitely still a beam on this chassis.

Looking at the radiator hose I can only imagine that it is situated somewhere in front of the left wheel. The sentras and the primeras where HUGE successes in the local touring car series. They cleaned up. Also think they managed 1&2 in all but one of the races while they competed.

Looking at the pictures in Kyle's article, it's using a beam indeed, but it's far from the stock beam. Look how low to the ground the actual beam is!

Look closer. It's under the intake mani....

Technically, it's part of the cage/frame...but the two side are definitely tied together.
