i used all the parts from a b15 1.8 liter trans....clutch fork and rod assembly from junkyard. With the trans on the workbench, you need a punch to remove the pin that holds the rod in place. It all goes together like stock. Then after reinstall, its just a matter of bolting the clutch slave cyl to the trans, grabbing a clutch pedal from a 95-99 or so altima/maxima....theres a write up here somewhere on the pedals, im using one from a b15 in my nx, had to drill another hole for the upper bolt location. i think the maxima one bolts up like its stock. Not so sure on the b14s. Anyways, after this is acomplished, bolt on the master cyl under the hood, run a line (i had a stainless one made up for 20 bucks) bleed system, and rock and roll. car will be much more fun to drive also.....my cable always hung up in agressive driving, causing clutch slippage, couldnt power around turns smoothly...theres a write up on here, somewhere. Its not hard to do, you can do it with stock parts.....i had a gtir master cyl laying around, i used that, but you can use a b15 one. Its one of the best mods for these cars in my opinion....even over turbo or vvl swaps. its cheap, i promise it cost me no more than 100 bucks in parts, and i can get the trans out and down in 1 and 1/2 to 2 hours between beers. I say, ditch that crappy cable, spend a weekend, grab the parts, install, and go.
