Thread: Measure twice, cut once, motor mount issues

Okay, so while I source a new BX mount, I chucked the MX mount into the car to enjoy the last days of summer before it goes into winter storage. I had to drill new holes so it would line up, and I could only use two bolts out of three. Opinions? It's only for a month..

i wouldn't put that thing within 10 feet of my car.

Those bolts aren't going through the sleeves that give the mount its strength, matter of time before that splits.

Okay, guess I'm gonna leave the car garaged until I can find a BX mount. Thanks for the input

Drive it hard enough and that gear case will be in pieces.
