However, it accepts the same insert as the EDM version of the B13 mount.

Similar style, happy now @KillerKrossover ?

Awesome work @M0J0

We should get a EUDM thread of the differences?

MORE BAD INFO HERE...

The USDM B13/NX/B14 trans mounts ARE different from 1.6 to 2.0.The prothane will fit in both, but they are different lengths.

I found this out by accident and tried to use a 1.6 mount on a 2.0 car.The length is slightly different...enough to see side by side, and enough to make it not line up easily.
Trust me on this,if not get them side by side and look .I just got rid of all the 1.6(MX) mounts so I cant post pics, sorry. But thats why I got rid of them since I have all 2.0 cars now.

The USDM 2.0 is marked BX and the 1.6 is marked MX

As for the EDM or P11 mounts...I know nothing about that.

For reference:

B13/B14 SR Transmission Mount is NOT interchangeable between A/T and M/T. The A/T has a larger mount and a narrower bracket. The M/T has a smaller mount and a larger bracket. Also, they are at different angles. The 3 bolts that hold the trans mount onto the trans also do not interchange. The A/T ones are shorter than the longer M/T ones. The bolt that holds the mount onto the frame is interchangeable.

B13/B14 GA Transmission Mount (marked MX) is NOT interchangeable with SR ones. GA & SR are at different angles.

You can use the same Prothane insert in trans mount stamped MX or BX.

Transmission Mount:
Auto is stamped BY
Manual is stamped BX

B13 & B14 M/T Trans mounts are different but they are interchangeable.

Thou I am repeating some of what has been said, just adding some more.

oh boy, this shits confusing!

i've totally used a 1.6 mount on a 2.0 with no problems (that im aware of) but im going to have to start paying more attention to this shit....

it really sucks when theres common knowledge thats flat out incorrect..

someone should take alllll the info from this thread thats correct an make a thread on our forum about it.
