Measure twice, cut once, motor mount issues
Hi!
I jumped the gun and removed my transmission mount, only to realise that after burning out the rubber, my prothane won't fit. Here are some pics.

The bushing is obviously too small, and wont go in due to the bulge.

From the "How to prothane", it looks like vadim has a GA16 mount

Can I undo my fuckup by using a GA16 tranny mount? Or do I need to source a new tranny mount? And aren't prothanes made for SR20 tranny mounts? Damn, I'm lost!

got to cut out that metal ring that was holding the rubber.

What car is that for? The one labeled SR20 looks like it is a P10 transmission mount.

Easy since the rubber is out, cut a relief slot in it with a hacksaw and then chisel and hammer the ring out.

That HAS a P10 mount. P10 has a slightly larger overall diameter than the B13/B14 transmission mount. And P10 mounts are flush with the bolts holes going into the transmission case. The B13/B14 transmission mounts turn 90* from the bolt holes going into the transmission case.

Ok thanks for breaking it to me, I'm gonna clean up the mounts, throw in some pics of the mounting holes, and call it a day. Will update soon!

Now the question is, why did my car come with a P10 mount?!?

I dunno, have a picture of what it looked like before you removed it? I really don't know what mount an NX uses, I never worked on one before. I do know the B13 SE-R and P10 mounts look just like your pictures, though. That is confirmed for sure.
