I wonder how long before ppl start modding electric cars. Maybe in 10 years there will be a forum where newbies can ask "What's better for performance on my SR20Mhz? Do I change my elecric cables to 2 Gauge or 0 Gauge? Some say 2 Gauge but I've read somewhere that Miko said 0 Gauge"

I know it's extremely old, but did you ever find out if the trans bolts up to the engine?

Looks like it would need a different bell housing to make the RS5F32V work with the CD20T?

For the images below, left to right: {P10/P11 Primera} {94 Sentra} {98 Sentra SE}
P10/P11 Primera:
- CD20T w/RS5F32A (3.8888 final)
- QG16DE w/RS5F70A (4.4375 final, 0.7333 5th)
- QG18DE w/RS5F70A (4.1785 final, 0.7556 5th)
- SR20DE w/RS5F70A (4.1785 final, 0.7556 5th)
94 Sentra:
- GA16DE w/RS5F31A (3.895 final)
- SR20DE w/RS5F32V (4.176 final)
98 Sentra SE:
- SR20DE w/RS5F32A (4.176 final)

My father has a P10 diesel (CD20 I believe) in DR that was imported from Europe, next time I go to DR ill take pics of it.

Would be a pretty interesting conversion, but i think that the whole fuel system from tank to engine bay would have to be changed to suit diesel wouldn't it ? Not to mention the differences in ignition (or lack there of) so the electrical system would need a work over to suit the glow circuitry etc.

Big job i reckon. Not for the faint of heart.

Diesel power is the future. I want a 335D w/ the sport package. I'm hearing great things about it. Converting our old buckets would be an large undertaking.
