Cam cover
Will the cam cover off a nissan gtir sr20 fit on an s14a sr20?

You're probably about to be ripped apart. There is no such thing as a "cam cover." There is a valve cover aka in Nissan world "rocker cover" -

Unless you're referring to the timing chain guide but that's a stretch

There is such thing as a cam cover. IJS.

It covers the camshafts, covers rockers, shims, springs, valves, etc. Just don't call it a metal thingy that covers the thingies.

LOL that made my shitty morning better..... Thanks Cliff and you are 100% correct, there is different terminology that mean the same thing.... I mean really if that doesn't cover the cams, what does?????????????

People in Europe and UK have different "words" to describe the same things

example: Bonnet (UK) = Hood (USA)

So the OP is correct in his statement


Now @Wardy01 , NO it will not fit as the S14 SR20 has the extended nose piece for the VTC of the intake cam. Also, the cam cover itself is of an entirely different design as it's also raised for a good portion of it before tapping off back down to close to regular height at the rare of the cam cover

I wouldn't call it a cam cover, but then again I guess it doesn't matter. I've said similar things (called a rocker arm "that little arm") and got made fun of. I was just preparing you in case
