Help me fix my problem!
Okay guys, i'm at the last straw and have been trying for weeks to figure out what the hell to do. I own a Sr20ve in a n14 pulsar(essentially same wiring as b13) and hoping you can give me a hand!

I got sent another Q45 AFM by a friend, and wanted to install it due to having a different plug and more than enough of a pigtail to wire up, unlike my old q45 which had a "custom" pin job

I wired it up piggy backing the new AFM off the old one, then realized i had the wires the wrong way around, so it was essentially 12v to ground and vice versa(i think) with both AFMs in, anyway before i fixed it my smart room mate misheard me and turned the key on ACC and then something went, i knew it must have. Awhile past and i pulled the ECU and inspected it, it has blown the AFM ground track, and the TPS ground track(pin 21?? that most FSM's say is just a ground) has the coating completely missing but is not broken.

Now, i originally just reground the AFM and the car was driveable, but after a 25minute drive the problems started or uncovered themselves. The car will start breaking up and bucking on and off, asif there is no power regardless of driving the running triat is that it seems to do so after a high cam burst but still seems to be intermittent even when sitting there idling, it seems to be a misfire coughing and spluttering and then the car will turn off if i continue to drive. It's one of those if you want to see it happen, it won't things.

At first i thought it was spark or fuel related, so i bought all new components.
I then started to notice fuel injector one was spraying( as if being supplied 12v ) when the car was primed with the rail unbolted, so i changed the fuel injector and checked the wiring. this happened on the original ECU.
Changed ECU, same thing. Then i moved onto completely renewing the wiring from the ECU AFM pins to the AFM itself, same ordeal.

I'm at a loss right now.

I have had a look at FSM's and wiring diagrams and what not and have become dumb founded as to what to look at next, i am in the middle of completely dismantling my loom but haven't found any signs of burnt out wires or anything of the sort. I have been focusing on anything that seems to run inline with the AFM, but i might be missing something. I also noticed a 0.47UF capacitor in the loom and a small fuse looking thing? I can't get continuity out of the fuse looking thing, but will be going to the wreckers tomorrow to get new of both.

Here is the list of things changed/modified

-New Igniter chip
-New Spark plug wires
-Changed AFM( have 3)
-New Ignition coil
-New CAS
-New AFM wiring to ECU(2 wires in a shield and shield grounded where the original one was)
-Changed ECU
-New Fuel pump
-Changed fuel rail and ALL injectors FPR etc
-Checked all Fuses/Relays
-Pulled back the loom to inspect for damage, none that i can see.
-Resistant checks on most wiring that i have uncovered currently

Hopefully someone can lead me in the right direction as i haven't had a working car in nearly 2 months and is starting to affect my work

did you check the tps itself?

What fuse running to the dizzy? Yeah TPS is fine, and i have another one here as a spare and both read the same.

Sheesh, that's rough Dean.

You've checked/removed/cleaned the major earths to both motor and chassis?

It's inline with the coil, not the distributor from the looks of it. If it's a fuse i can't get continuity on it so maybe that's it?

Yeah got it cheers, I was planning to hit up the wreckers tomorrow

EDIT. just had a look, resister/condenser is one unit that looks like http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a83/fuggger/24336-B13001.jpg haven't uncut that part of the loom yet.

These are the things i am talking about

Next edit, did a bit more digging. Seems in my car the 2 pointed out items are indeed the resister and condenser, at least judging from certain wire color
