Guess you guys are too young.

Back in the SE-R.net days that was a t-shirt everyone wore that one of the site administrators made.

All you'd need to do to update it is to add a "T" at the end of SR20DE. It's like adding another 200 hp with one letter.

Ha that's true.

Remember guys, back in 1996-2000, SE-R.net was *ALL* we had. It was a relatively small group of people and the mailing list at it's height had like 600 people.

Everyone was doing Honda back then. I even remember reading an issue of Sport Compact Car back then, and it said something like "the SR20DE still remains a secret because no one knows how easy it is to extract usable power from such a fine engine"

Yeah, and Sport Compact Car isn't around any longer either. They closed 4 or 5 years ago. I just hope Grassroots Motorsports has a long future, I have a 20 year subscription.

At least people can't believe my SE-R interior is more than a couple years old and a properly modified B13 will hang in there with anything out there today. Too bad Nissan paint jobs were so weak to begin with.

Yep. Besides the obvious like 5th gear popout, some issues with the B13 were the headliner, paint jobs, blower resistor, speedometer, and the emissions garbage. Oh and the old timing chain tensioner, and rocker rust.
