Cold compression test on engine that's been sitting for months
I'm getting whacky numbers on an engine that I thought had good compression. It's been sitting for a long time, so I'm hoping nothing went wrong with it while it was sitting, but the numbers are so:
Cyl 1: 145
Cyl 2: 90
Cyl 3: 180
Cyl 4: 40
I'm gonna do a wet test now to see if it changes anything, but would these numbers be reliable on a cold engine that's been sitting around for a while?
