Yes, they both attach to the radiator, but they're designed and manufactured as parts of different systems. Anyone looking at the parts fiche under cooling system will only see one fan, as the other is in a completely different section. This is not their fault. Maybe Nissan's design dept's fault, but not the dealership, not the parts tech, not the service counter employee, not the parts stores, none of that.

I would also venture to guess if you asked for an A/C condenser fan they'd search the A/C system and find it.
