Whats this, this and this one? (pictures)
I'm not sure where this mystery plug goes. It kinda sits the transmission and has a green/yellow and black wire. The transmission already have something plugged into it.

I have a long nose on the vacuum gallery...the farthest tube with a 90 degree bend...that went to no where. I didn't know if it went anywhere so I ended up just plugging it until I knew for sure.

Now the important one. This is the oil sender sensor correct? The plug is broken and the ground wire has been ripped out. I just noticed this for the first time. I take it this is a pretty important plug to fix correct?

not sure about the first one. The oil pressure sending unit is the second one. It's for your dumby light and tells you when your oil pressure is low.

If the first one is a two wire plug that is the same style plug as the reverse switch on the trans then its your coil plug I believe. If the gauge wire is heavier than the other wires then for sure the coil wire. I cant see the pictures right now.

The other one sounds like the oil pressure sending unit, its only supposed to have one wire. when the switch activates it breaks the contact to ground. It grounds through the sensor and block. Its a one wire deal.

My reverse lights work...and coil is fine. :/

ok now that i can see the pictures. The first one is the neutral safety switch. There are two plugs for the trans. Once switch is down on the bottom front side of the trans near the shift actuator and is supposed to run up the side of the trans on the diff side. That is where that plug goes.

As for you oil sending unit plug, just looks like you need to find a new connector and solder and heat shrink it on. That one is all ghetto. But like I said, its only one wire. Not two.

As for the vacuum hoses, well there are many places all those hoses go. One goes to the charcoal canister, one goes to the egr control solenoid, and so on. Easiest to just use the vacuum diagram that should be on the hood to pick out where they go. If not im sure someone has a picture somewhere and you can find it in the FSM as well. Just make sure you dont have any vac leaks. Thats the main key.

The oil sending unit isnt even connected ...the wire is kinda draped over the axle bracket. It would be alright to just wire it directly to the ecu harness? The whole harness underneath the IACV is a mess. :/

As fsr as that vacuum line...I cant tell where it goes in the fsm or haynes. In the illustration on both, its just a nub of a wire. Thats why I was unsure if it was just capped or not.
