It does this sometimes, no idea why. It idles at indicated 2100rpm (when it's really at like 950rpm) for no apparent reason. Just thought it was funny to see the tach needle hit the plastic at the bottom of the cluster.

Anyone else's B14 do this? Also notice the temp needle on the right go the opposite way of the tach. So weird.

Need to reset your needle. Probably from the gauge face change, it wasnt reinstalled correctly. The way to properly set it is to take the plastic cover off, remove the needle off the gauge, turn the key on with the engine still off and then place the needle at 0 rpm, then start the vehicle and make sure its where it needs to be. If its still reading high then you have issues elsewhere. And judging by the temp needle acting funky as well thats probably a good sign there is something loose or your getting some electrical interferance somewhere. Possibly alternator going out.

Haha. The thing is, it only does it sometimes. Maybe 1/10 times driving, the rest of the time it's accurate, I have the JWT ECU with the 7750 fuel cut or whatever and it cuts right about there when working right
