My VE all motor was dead even with an modded RX-7.. his turbo was so loud, the guy couldn't believe it when I said I'm NA.

experiences may vary. but have seen all motor VE's run 13.5's at the track and a DET run about the same, just with a higher trap speed.

I also saw a DET run a 16 something, but he broke something

bro, im at 280-290 and maxing my injectors at stock fuel pressure, which are suppose to be rated for 325, also maxing the n60 maf which is also suppose to be good for 300-325..

its my belief your engine had issues, maybe it was doomed from the get go, or maybe it was from something you did..

Haha, to tell you what a lightened flywheel and underdrive pulleys do to your car, today I was stopped at a light and started going again but was actually in 3rd gear (thinking I was in first) and didn't even notice it until I went to shift

Just yanking your chain bro since we like to talk smack about our setups .

My VE block seems pretty good, along with pistons, no signs of detonation or any damage like that. Now cylinder #4 does have a slight scratch on the wall, which I'll get machined out eventually.

What injectors and who said they are rated for 325whp?

Finally unless you want additional headache and more things to break DE+T or DET is really the best way to go. Parts are easy to find, no leaky VVL solenoids, no worries on cam overlap (with stock cams), etc. etc.

im running the subie "520cc" injectors, from what i've read they should be good for 300-325hp on stock fuel pressure and im in the mid 80's for duty cycle. i posted a pic of a graph from nismotronic in my thread, take a look.

how about this....their both expensive to do properly.

you pump money into a ve's motor to go fast
you pump money into a det's gearbox to stay fast.

i like ve,simply cause of the sound. other may love the "spooling" sound of a turbo.each to their own...

pretty sure your argument is crap because all motor ve's can still blow up our gear box just like a det

Vadim you think ve suck because you had it in a turd box p11 and were tuning for the environment gas sipping horse crap

If you cant make over 300hp on a ve+T with that same setup on a det your doing something wrong sorry hate to say it but thats fact
