Its an ACT competition.. the pressure plate is fine.. but as you can seen, theres not much time left for the disc. The springs are digging in.

UGH!!!!!!!!!

I had that same problem, i just installed a new ACT disc and a new clutch cable, all other parts okay, now the problem is the gears wont engage and i try with both 1.6 and 2.0 cables,i had swap the 1.6 engine to a u-12 bluebird 2.0 DET. Can you help? your advice will be appreciate it. thank you. 1/8/13, Never mine i solved the problem thank anyway.

So I am going to the dyno in about 2 weeks, but I want to get some predictions.

The '92 SE-R with the SR20VE made 206hp @ the wheels with:

JMR Header
Warm air intake
Marsh ECU
3" exhaust, no cat, to magnaflow muffler
N1 cams/super tech valve springs
G-spec power steering delete kit
MSD window switch activating VVL at 5200rpms (I'll probably keep it there)

I have now added/in process of adding:

-G-spec underdrive crank pulley
-G-spec underdrive water pump pulley
-Full cold air intake
-Fidanza flywheel (I know a lightened flywheel makes no actual HP but can decrease 1/4 mile times)

Any guesses what the dyno will show? I would be happy with an additional 5-8. I will post the dyno chart when I get it.

Nope it will be a different one, that would be ideal but that place is too expensive. I would be thrilled to make 212!

Different dynos show different numbers. Remember that. Since there's no constant or standardization for dynos, the same car could make different numbers on different dynos. Only way to know increases from mods is to use the same dyno each time. They are good for seeing changes, not so much for hard numbers.

Are you planning on doing any type of tuning? Or are you just strapping it down and praying for the best?

A little of both. I am going to mess with the MSD window switch, the cold air intake (piping length, and position) timing etc. The cold air intake right now is positioned in sort of an unorthodox location since the battery is relocated.

What I would like to know is if the air filter is traditionally placed in the driver's side fenderwell because of the battery being in the way (i.e. - it has been done this way because of the physical space limits) or because it was/is the best location for maximum gain in the SR20 because it's semi-shielded from the heat of the engine. Or if it won't make any difference at all.

It's this place in the suburbs in Montgomery county. The guys seems to know their stuff, but it isn't cheap. I think like $75 an hour or something.
