The SR20 is rare in a B-chassis, but it is relatively common(?) in a P-chassis. And that sensor is used in more than just the SR20, a fact WingmanSR20 already covered. I will also agree and say there is no reason to replace this sensor, not unless it is broken. And by broken, I don't mean just a busted connection. But I repeat myself...

I wasn't talking about the sensor being rare, I understand that there are universal parts. If it was only for the SR20 it would only be available from Nissan. I mean, I wouldn't say that the SR20 is a common motor though right?

My sensor didn't look broken but it clearly was the problem. I'm just saying if your stock needle is bouncing around here and there, it wouldn't hurt to try out this $10 part.
