Thread: Slipping Clutch or Speedo ?

Got a cellphone you can download a Speedo app? That way you can see how close it matches up with your cars? Might not give you an exact reading but should be close.

I will do more troubleshooting this wknd.

Starting to really annoy me

I believe it ODD no one has ever had this problem. It is not a clutch / tranny issue.

My car ran like that for the past 4 months, the past two weeks consistently even when car was cold.

IT WAS THE DAMN MAF SENSOR!

I had it facing towards the radiator, as opposed to firewall. I read it somewhere ( Viprdude's 200sx Thread ) some posts talking about how that could affect the car. And it does, I can vouch for that. I returned it back to it's normal spot ( had it facing the other way for clearance ) and it went away !

so it was the maf facing the other way, silly mistake

Yes sir, it wasn't reading right with the sensor up-side down.

Now it's better!
