It's back up - thou only "Sorry, down for maintenance until forever..." welcome screen

There is talk of what to do with it - hopefully they can manage to bring it back to some point.

They should give/sell it to someone. I would gladly host a copy personally, or have it hosted on this forum.

I remember going to the public library and printing off page after page of info. Everybody probably thought I was surfing porn.Lol. Info was a lot harder to come by in those days for sure.

Is it still ran by Larry Weeks? I can give him a shout, I hope it comes back.. Way to many memories on there

It is still run by Larry, and there's talk on the mailing list of bringing it back, and what it would take.

Apparently the site was brought back. It was only down by some mistake? When it was brought back, a lot of folks with e-mail addresses posted on the site started getting all sorts of crap e-mail since the site must have been seen as "new" to lots of e-mail scrapers after the period of being down.

The "under construction" page went up so Larry could figure out what to do about the contact info on the site. If it can be scrubbed (seems to be the current plan) it can be brought back up.

I'd love to see it back myself.
