I was working at a Lincoln dealership and had a town car in for a service. That filter was seized on. Had to use a chisel to hammer it off. Worst one I have ever seen. Only have seen 2 gaskets from the filter stay on the base, 1 I caught, 1 I didnt... Thankfully I found the issue before it had no oil.

SR20 wise, I think the worst was I had an oil filter come loose on me on a DET swap. I was using low port oil filters on the DET and thats a no on, didnt know it. It didnt happen right away either, it decided to loosen up and spin off on a second gear pull.. Not fun.

haha this happened to me also! it wasn't getting any spark so i looked over all the wiring again and missed the 2 ground wires that attach to the intake mani. I believe that's the ground for the ecu. Luckily i found out within an hour, it would of killed me if it took 2 days!

Nah, luckily I just keep a few spare tools in there.

I have another (current) problem now.

I just changed the rear brake pads in my 92 SE-R. Now the e-brake no longer works (has mp tension). I have no idea how or what I did.. anyone know? I'll have to pull the rear wheel off my 97 SE-R to compare it and see if anything looks different.

Forgot to install new TOB when I put in a new clutch kit. Bolted everything up. Went to put on the clutch cable and the arm swung free. FML. Never again. Lol.

^^ I did that once but I always check to see if its moving properly after bolting a trans up. So just had to unbolt it and drop it back down. Didnt get the whole car back together. That would suck. lol

was working on a B14 for an entire year...put the motor together, dropped it in, did wiring, hoses, the whole 9 yards...finished all the big stuff in about 2 weeks and the rest was me trying to figure out why it wouldnt start...well a couple weeks ago i look behind the radio...and the ECU wasn't unplugged about half an inch...got a screwdriver and plugged it all the way in and what do you know...thing runs like a charm...i spent a year trying to figure out what was wrong, turns out it was that the whole time.
