will my car be ok? in cold weather
i took off the rad to get my turbo off well still no turbo to replace it with so its just sitting outside. idk if there is water/coolant in the block still or not.
its getting cold here real cold and im scared for my block.
what do i need to do to keep it safe?

Just drain the coolant to make sure its not all/part water and close up all ports with something to soak up any outside moisture and you will be fine

i would think it would be a better idea to leave antifreez in the block.. i mean its ment not to freez

As long as there is coolant / water mix in the motor you will be fine just tape off the exhaust ports.

Ok thanks guys.
Here's what I did.
Removed the rad along with drained it from the rad ports.
Then removed manifold.
Thats how she is sitting today.

im in wv so its prob worse here so i have gotton two answers here.
which do i do?
leave coolant in the block or drain it out?
someone or anyone can tell me the right way would be appreciated!

If its coolant leave it in it will be fine.
