It's okay though. It's a common problem with old DE's.
In 2001, my brother had a '93 SE-R, following after me. He raced a mustang down the street, then pulled into our driveway and killed the engine about 20 seconds after hitting the rev limiter. The next day he started it up and the engine was done.
