Thanks for the tips. My local parts guys aren't too smart if you know what i"M saying. I have no confidence in them whatsoever. They'll find a way to give me crap customer service.

I have used a socket, a wrench, and vise grips. They all worked just fine.

so how tight are you supposed to tighten it back in(ft/lbs or in/lbs)? i tightened mine too much last time, hence my ve swap right now.

yeah it would use a larege 12 point socket (dont know the size) but i used a pair of vise grips and it worked perfect, they are not on there very tight and they all tend to leak after time, its like one of those pesky things that just happens, haha

I just used a large socket. Nothing special.

very easy.. 1-1/16 socket is what u need...mine was impact socket. mabe chrome ones are shorter...but may work

Yep, just got one of those yesterday, and worked like a charm

They do sell special Oil pressure sockets, but they can only be used for the oil pressure sensor, at least 1-1/6 socket can be used elsewhere.

Both will cost you about $6 at Autozone.

Got the oil pressure socket. Worked like it was supposed to. I torqued it back up to 5ft pounds. Might be to low but I'll find out I guess. I didn't want to over tighten it as the FSM has no torque number for the oil pressure sensor.

^^ I dunno how tight I got mine, but i was afraid to break something hehe
