Thread: I'm stumped, someone help!!

OK, did a cam swap and now I have no spark to start the vehicle. I cranked it with the valve cover off and everything is turning as it should but no spark at all, anyone ever have this issue!!?

Silly question-Did you plug the distributor back in?

yeah everything is hooked back up, held a screwdriver on plug number one and craked and nothing

Are you sure the plug wires are in the correct firing order and that the key on the distributor is actually seated inside the slit on the exhaust cam?

I figured it out, my distributor is bad, anyone got one?

All I have are a few b14 dizzy's.

I assume he meant that he stuck a screw driver slightly into the plug wire to see if he could get an arc.

That's what I thought but it will only arc if grounded to the car, but he says he figured it out. Oh well
