Fuel pump replacement ( ISSUE RESOLVED)
Any tips or trickd for tackling this fuel pump job....I'm too pissed off right now to even look at this thing. On two of the screws the hexagon shape does not even exist anymore. Everything looks like it's ready to break if I even look at it wrong.

clean off the cap really good, spray some liquid qrench or pb on there and let it sit, every 30 min or so spray some more, use only 6 point sockets no 12 points, lightly hammer them on and try to break them free. if they break then ull have to drill them out or thru and replace them with a nut and bolt

Damn bro, this small issue pissed me off so bad you don't even understand....I was ready to set this B*tch on fire....I had to walk away from this shit this morning...I'm definitely spoiled from working on my "95" B14's I had absolutely no rust issues or problems at all working with them....I'm cool with B13's after this one these cars are nothing but problems in the NE region. There is too much stress working a project car that is also a daily.....make one mistake the car is down for a few days if not a week....

Mine was worse. You'll need penetrating oil, Vise Grips, and allot of patience. Buy a new cover o-ring, because the one that's in there now has magically expanded, and you won't be able to reuse it. Replace the old hardware with socket head screws. Also, the gas tank opening is razor sharp, so expect to get a few cuts on your hands.
