have you tried hitting up greg for axles? oem are $3xx.xx and he has some cheapy aftermarket ones that he says he uses on his racecar and work great, i however dont trust aftermarket axles since i got that passenger one stuck in my transmission an barely got it out..

i had to take the trans out with the passenger axle still in, it was a huge pain in the ass, and it took a huge fuckin hammer to get the axle out once the trans was out of the car

I wish it was that simple. They are clicking. I don't know why, I replaced the boots once on both axles and I did it as soon the boot broke. I don't know why three years later they started clicking without the boot been broke.

i have problem with the driver axle on a b14. The axle doesn't click, it has more of a grinding noise that gets loud when on the brakes. I put the car on jack stands took off the front two tires to examine and noticed that the passenger axle spins freely in gear, yet the driver axle seems to barely spin. It was making a noise as though it was straining to spin. Any ideas?

p.s. the axles were installed at the same time
