Thread: anyone recognize this car??

anyone recognize this car. i am trying to track down the owner and figure out what was exactly wrong with it to make them bring it to the junkyard in bradington florida. i was going to pull the trans out of it but there is a lot of sketchy work on the car.
car was missing the driver side motor mount and had metal ac strapping screwed into the case of the transmission then boled to the crosmember. also the front dogbone has no bushings in it at all. exhaust was horribly put together. there was home theater speakers installed all in the car. shifter was cut off. suspension was fucked. has an sr20 out of an infinity in it that was poorly swapped. id really like to track the owner down and see whats up with the trans. thanks,

i just need to know if the trans is any good and what its out of. the car has an sr20forum sticker on the back drivers window.

try the actual sr20forum website if that's the sticker that was there....sadly though if their car is in the yard like that i doubt they frequent either forum anymore.

grab the trans anyways, even if 5th is bad it can have other good parts like the bellhousing/case, diff, 1-4 gear stack and if 5th is bad thats pretty easy to fix.

Just curious, how can you tell the motor is from a g20?

well the infiniti logo on the valve covers usually a give away, but maybe someone just swapped the valve cover..
