Tire Rack : ATE

I was going to say this. ^ What I like to do is run ATE Super Blue brake fluid (Wet BP 396F) if I'm doing primarily street driving and If I have a AutoX or Track day I'll replace my fluid with Motul RBF 600 (Wet BP 421). Since it has a higher wet boiling point. I tend to lean towards which has the higher wet boiling point since these brake fluids are hygroscopic, so the more moisture they absorb, the lower the fluid's 'dry' boiling point becomes.

That's actually not a bad idea..run ATE Superblue for the street than switch to something stronger for track use.

I've yet to boil ATE using ad22's. I think the piston seals we give before the fluid will. The wet number applies for old fluid. I usually flush is out before it gets to that point.

Reminds them of confederate army uniforms.

Haaa you guys crack me up. But what Hank said is the reason for a lot of weird laws I suspect.

EDIT: yeah, so it was over a year ago, forgot I was researching brake fluid. Which also led me to discover that the ATE is now illegal everywhere in the US!!? Just because it is, in fact, blue.
