Clutch cable snapped
I let my mother drive my car today and the clutch cable snapped on her.
I was leaving work (60 miles away) when it happened.
So she had to wait until I got there.
She sounded a little worried like she destroyed my car.
When I got the call, I thought she got into an accident.
I'll take the clutch cable snapping any day.

Clutch cable ftl. I've had one snap in drive thru, and another in traffic. Fun stuff.

This is why I converted to hydraulic, they always break at the worst times.

next time I have spare cash this is on my to do list. Mine snapped on an on ramp, and in the ghetto. Always good times. Kinda bs that you NEED to drive around with a spare in the car at all times lol

My clutch cable snapped three times on me. Take it from me, I highly suggest Nissan's original clutch cable as the only acceptable repair for this. After the third snap, I ignored the auto parts store and went with the original and also pulled the transmission and replaced the seals along with a new clutch. Since then I have driven 10,000 miles and it feels great!

yup, OEM Nissan Clutch Cable is your friend.

we pay like equivalent $30 for the cable here in the Philippines

crappy replacement cables stiffen up after only a few months of use
