Thread: What's your secret? (DS wheel hub vs. axle)

Once you can get your mitt on it, it should be pretty straight forward. Mine was in a heck of an awkward position, so I moved a bracket out of the way to get to it. I found with a couple of the connectors on the engine harness (like fuel injector connectors), it helps if you push in first, then sqeeze, then pull. Stops it from catching.

Thanks I'm actually going to finish up dropping the motor back in today. Trying to figure out the easiest way to re-fill the tranny with gear oil

for the trans, they make funnels with stop ****s especially for filling trannys with oil. they have the thin plastic clear hoses. one of the ones I bought has a threaded cap you can thread right on the tranny oil container... but the funnels are better and cheaper if your not in a hurry to fill it up

Thanks Meeners! I was going to just remove the speedo sensor, but that's a PITA to do. This looks like the obvious alternative
