Thread: What size hg?

I have completely no idea what thickness, hg to get.

No internal mods
Fmic
3.5in straight through exhaust
Tubular manifold

I will be upgrading the turbo eventually but not for a few months probably.

I will be having the deck checked and re surfaced if necessary.

Also are cometic hg's that bad?
I keep reading negative reviews but with little evidence.

Mazworx has the vet metal headgasket with quote on quote works better. Look into that one. Its about 70 bucks and Ashton is using it at 700+ whp so that sold me right there

And 1.1 is stock if I'm not mistaken. Vet firing rings are superb

Is that a straight fit for my s14?

What are the advantages of thicker hg's?
