Need Help... Acceleration Problem..
need help trying to figure out this problem. Here's some general info. I have a vvl with top mount t3 exhaust manifold, t3 turbo, 38mm waste gate, 750cc nissan injectors, sr20ve-t metal headgasket, Gspec adjustable cams, walboro 255 fuel pump, adjustable fpr set to 3.5 bar, eliminated the maf and went with a gm 3 bar map sensor. Running a AEM EMS 2 with an aem wideband, boost gauge, oil pressure, etc. Ok here's the problem. Car starts off great with the n/a calibration aem offered ( stock ka24de with stock injectors and map sensor.... that's the only closest calibration aem had cuz i called them and asked them.....)(also changed calibration from the wizard window to what i have on the engine..), but when i accelerate, the car wont pass 2000 and wont go under load meaning my boost gauge goes from -20 to 0 and wont go any further and the engine wont pass 2000, feeling bogged out. Also wideband reads 10.9 and goes down to 9.5 at 2000 an just found out even with the fan running direct, the engine overheats. Maybe gotta bleed the air out of the system, or i fxxk'ed up somewhere. Don't know really. Ain't a newbie to nissan. Have done other swaps but never encountered this headache. I would appreciate anyways help at this point. Don't wanna destroy a two yr build on something stupid i did. Thanks for anyone's time....

you should have started with the g20 base map. The only ka24de setting you want to use is the setup for the 24-1 cas disc. Your fuel map is way off due to the large injectors. even when you set the injectors in the setup it does not change the map. I would also think you tip in throttle is way off. You need to first correct the fuel map and load break points. also make sure the map sensor is reading right. I had a issue with mine out of the box with a bad wire on the harness.

Thanks for the info. But how would i be able to take it of off limp mode and how would i start with a g20 base map when aem calibrations for the aem ems 2 has only for the ka24de and the sr20det with c.o.p ignition.

okay I looked at aem tuner and yes you would have to use the ka24de base. Have you set the base ignition timing and the throttle range yet? Both of these need to be set for the car to run right. If you have set both it does not hurt to double check. You need to work on the 100kpa and down area of the fuel map first.

yes, i set the base ignition to 10 the way aem informed me to do so and i set the throttle range and the throttle is min .50v and max is 3.98 at wot. Ok, so how would i be able to change it, mines is set at PSIg.
