I don't know if cost is a issue but the cheapest thing your going to probably find with a 3 inch exit is a "Asp budget header" those things are ranging from $300- $450 used. I'm sure there maybe other options but this is the only one I know of at the time.

My question is are you running aftermarket springs and retainers with those cams. If not you could be floating the valves resulting in the flat spot. Ugraded springs and retainers are a must with those cams. If your not running them i almost bet your floating valves. I would double check the cam timing but if the motor runs fine other than having no power up top im almost certain thats why.

I just took a couple videos of the tach & speedometer at WOT to about 7500rpm from 1st to 3rd gear. Of course you can't feel the acceleration from a video - *try to watch this without the suggestibility factor from my original post which indicates I thought it was falling flat after 6000rpms*

Oh and the lights on the dash are the door open sensor, and now the battery and brake light are flashing intermittently, which I believe is because the belt for the alternator is wearing out.

So anyways, I took my gf for a ride in it, she knows nothing about cars, or even what an engine does, and she said she thinks it feels "the same" as it did before with the stock cams & springs, so it's possible it's in my head and/or Ben at JWT is right and the motor is being restrained with the small header (hotshot 3rd gen) and 2.25" cat back exhaust (the exhaust note is fairly quiet but the cold air intake, which is a 3" is REALLY loud)
