Thread: Why not starting...

Just,rewired/relocated my window switch for my cams ...now for s ok me reason it wont start on,its own....

Safc shows me 12'2-.5 volts off...it starts tho with a jump..stays running and shows ne 14'4....

As soon as I turn it off,after being jumped...it will not start.

While the key is on,i can hear fuel pimp prime and the dash is supper dim,then gets brighter after the pump iss off...

Once tried to turn on,just one click.nothing

Sounds like a bad battery, did you have your stereo on while changing wiring and run shti down? Unless you tapped into a wire you shouldnt have, the window switch shouldnt cause anything.

Do you have a loose terminal?

Battery sounds fried, just borrow a friends one and atleast you'll know. Did you check voltage at the alternator as well?

i just undid the orig wires ,cut made new wire soldered and long enought to reach the new location for my msd switch....and ya now what i checked my negative terminl and its cracked ...go figure..

battery was diconnected for 2 days prior to today...

looks like ill be getting some new terminals....and see






i hope my father in law has my old battery still....

batt still good...terminals no good...

went to the ZONE with an old battery(my old nx) and it was junk...had them test min to make sure my installed was still good and is...

they gave me 5$ store credit for the junk batt and i bought the termihnl brush cleener,cleande off the terminals and posts and BAMM started right up no kump needed...so i know for sure i need new terminals...yay.
