Thread: Painted B14 Wheels

Saw a few good examples of painted wheels in some other forum posts lately and I was wondering if anyone has done the same with a set of B14 wheels. Mine are looking rough and need refinished so I was thinking about painting the recessed areas gloss black like the mustang cobra has done. Also missing a center cap if anyone has a spare laying around taking up space.

I dont have any examples of that, I painted the whole rim with flat black after striping them with aircraft remover with rattle can paint, it has held up for a year now.

Maybe you could try making off the areas you dont want painted with that frog tape they sell at home depot (its green, and it produces cleaner lines, the paint is supposed to not bleed under the adhesive like the blue tape does), I've used it inside my house and dont see why it wouldn't work with rattle can paint. good luck
