Thread: car is really annoying me!!

ok guys...im bout ready to crush this damn thing..it was running fine earlier...bled the coolin system and fixed the temp sending unit plug...let car run to see if fans would turn on when i put my hand down by my maf wires and the car just kinda bogs down..jiggle the wires and it shuts off.. so i put them back and no better...change maf plugs and same problem...just got the engine harness from a member...put it in and fixed this problem that i had b4...seems to me like theres a broken wire in the harness somewhere...dont wanna for out another 100 for a harness...not good at electrical sooooo...can someone make me a nice new harness??lol any help would be nice..havnt drove the car in 2 yrs..got exhaust on and was fixing a minor problem..now i have a big one all over again...

just got rid of my other car cause this one was running...i cant keep driving the wifeys car all the time

Reground the maf, and see if the problem continues

how do u do that??? just bolt a wire to one of the bolts to the maf?? really bad at electrical problems..i can put motors in and out but wiring is horrible for me

Run a wire from your ground wire on your maf harness to one of the bolts on top of the intake manifold. Can't remember exactly which of the three wires it is off the top of my head but someone can chime in. I had the same problems in the past and this solved it.

If you ground the wrong wire you will fry your ecu.

what year is your engine.

91..so its the middle wire like in the post?
