My thoughts exactly, might as well get a 1.6L 200sx, better gas mileage more comfortable and faster.

You guys obviously don't know what your talking about but it's all good.

Any b series Mazda motor will bolt up to the original trans in the Festiva, so theres 6 bolt in swaps right there! Theyre all fairly easy, and the donor cars range from an 87 carb Mazda 323 b6 to a 97 Kia sephia bp. A b6t turbo swap from a 323 gt can get you deep in 13s with very little work, and there is a guy right now on they festy forum running high tens with a bp 1.8 turbo, stock engine+turbo. You may consider them a pos, but doesn't mean theyre not fun to own/build. Heck there's people out there that consider our nissans pos's. And show me a swapped or even stock Nissan getting a true 40mpg or better!

im on a budget build, so far im about 1100 into motor and turbo, my budget is 2500 to be safe but might be close to 2k when done.
parts have:
protech manifold t3
precision turbo
piping
intercooler
wg
bov
elbow
lines =600
87mm pistons=200
eagle rods=150

parts needed:
gaskets:100
wp:50
bearings:175
injectors:300
ve pump:200
fluids:100
fuel pump:80
machine work:200

pretty much close to the 2500 mark, have 2 manifolds and 1 has to go so yeah thats my budget build

I'm sure yours is/was much better, but for the most part the ones I was in were really bad.

Basically it comes down to this.

Simple Turbo Build: $3k
200whp+ NA Build:

Dema failed, but I didnt.
