Fuel gauge not working/inoperable
My gas gauge on my B14 SE-R hasn't moved since I filled up Sunday and I've been driving to and from work with a little errand running since (maybe 5 miles a day on average?) I'm pretty sure the gauge should have moved by now? I kind of screwed up and topped off too much, gas was coming out of the spout. Anyway to rectify this or test the fuel sending unit before I replace everything?

Apologies in advance if this has already been documented, I searched for everything but the only thing I could come up with was the famous B13 "3/4 tank showing after fill up" which didn't have anything useful on it. My B13 does do this though so any tips on either issue would be greatly appreciated!

Have u recently installed LEDs in your cluster? There is clear plastic tabs inside the cluster that grab the light from the bulbs to distribute it to the gauge and some LED bulbs push on it and cause the needle to rub the overlay, I had to snip about 1/4" off the tab on my cluster. If you haven't installed LED bulbs, I'd suggest removing the clear plastic cover from your cluster and moving the needle by hand to about 1/2 tank and if it isn't rubbing the overlay at all reassemble and see if it fixes your problem by just breaking it loose of it is frozen in place.
