yeah dude, your engine runs strong no doubt, when i hammerd it the other day it pulled great till it hit that stupid 6800 rev cut.

Thats why im hoping its the maf, even though the voltage seems fine....maybe its just not reading right so its cutting the power...it does almost feel like your getting the maf unplugged as your driving, or its shorting out? idk

you have the metal clip on there that holds the plug on?

might try rewiring the maf properly an regrounding it to the intake or head somewhere.

Was reading on bad mafs and them going out, and found this lil checklist.

Possible Causes of Engine Hesitation or Stumble:

Dirty fuel injectors (cleaning the injectors often fixes this).- no idea could be a problem
Bad MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor
Bad TPS (throttle position) sensor-know its not this
Bad or dirty MAF (mass airflow) sensor----what i have a feeling on
Low fuel pressure (leaky fuel pressure regulator or weak fuel pump)- i have a spare pump luckily
Vacuum leaks (intake manifold, vacuum hoses, throttle body, EGR valve)-doubt it
Bad gasoline (fuel contaminated with water or too much alcohol)- i put octane booster in in case this was the problem

Sometimes, what feels like a hesitation is actually ignition misfire rather than lean misfire. The causes of ignition misfire may include:

Dirty or worn spark plugs- replaced
Bad plug wires - ngk wires still good

i suppose its possible to be injectors, i just doubt it.. i have a set but i'd rather save them since i doubt its the issue..

but ya it wont hurt to change the pump..

lol 200sx pumps are easy. Lift otu back seat, remove some screws, and lift out of the tank. I saw the access cover when i did my leather swap.
