Same thing here. I had regular cheap 45-50$ autozone/advanced auto parts cable and I would snap cables every other month. It creaks when it's about to snap.i called the dealer and got me a 1.6 cable for my 2.0 it's much better fit and longer life. I've had it on for about a year and haven't had to adjust. Note: I have a stage 3 clutch on my ser

Really... Is it any longer? You might be on to something here. Can you give me any more info?

The 1.6 is actually shorter so you have less adjustment needed. It's a big difference. Understand what I'm saying?

Yeah. That makes sense. I can sometimes be a little backwards if I am at work quickly trolling...

I use this stuff: Cable Life Lubricant - Protect All

The fitting doesn't work that well, so i just use two fingers to get it down in the cable from the engine bay side. Combine that with 120psi of air from a compressor and blow it through until it comes out by the pedal. Rags help catch the excess. No more friction noise, peace of mind you're not going to wear out the cable.
