Manual Conversion Questions
Looking to get back into the sr20 game. Found a clean b14 locally for a steal but the only problem is that the cars auto. Just wanted to get an idea on how hard a manual swap is and exactly what is involved. Heres a list on what I know I need so far.

Clutch/flywheel
Shift linkage w/mounts
Manual tranny
Clutch pedal
Clutch master cylinder
Axles
Ecu

Is there anything else I need? The only thing im worried about with the swap is mounting the clutch pedal, running the clutch lines, and mounting the clutch master cylinder. Anyone have any tips or a write up on the swap?

manual trans mount. You will have to make a spacer for the clutch pedal.
Dont forget to remove the ignition lock.
Youll have to bypass the neutral bypass switch on the harness.

I have done a few of these swaps. I can do the swap for youre interested pm me

as far as i know, no need to replace the ECU.
We've done this, we just short the inhibitor switch.
and just to add on what already said you have to drill a hole in the firewall to make way for the clutch cable.
and wire tap for the reverse switch (for the reverse lamp)
and also dont for get the shiftboot and shift knob.
and the M/T cross member for you to place the dog bone (front engine support)
for the axle if going to 1.6 to 1.6 no need to replace but 1.6 to 2.0 yes. (just to clear)

I say if your going to convert to manual go hydraulic, theres a write up in the how to section. I converted my b14 from cable to hydraulic and it has to be one of my favorite mods Ive done to the car to date.

I did my auto to manual swap and used p11 clutch stuff. Didn't have to make a spacer and don't have to worry about a cable ever.
