Yes I do. The air temp sensor on my (98 SE-R) car is on the air pipe before the box. My 97 SE-R had it on the box.

Ok cause I used to have a short ram and my car didn't like it at all..

Also check your accelerator cable. Might be getting stuck sometime. (your cruise control) cable as well.

My car came with a short ram. I changed it out last year for the stock box though. My car ran fine with it, no problems. I'm in California and cops don't like modified imports here. Even if your parts have a carb legal sticker, cops can still ticket you and send you to the ref. Didn't want to deal with that shit. I'm fine being stock.

I'm about to do a tune up. Need to change out my cap and rotor and plug wires, fuel filter too. Wires are pretty damn old. Magnecor wires. Don't know how long those have been on the car, i'm sure they been on way before I even bought this car in 2008. Should probably do the pcv valve and the cracked hose for it too.

Yeah I do too but do this right. Take off the top 1/2 of the air box off. Unbolt the bottom piece. Take the bottom piece and a drill with a drill bit and make a billion little holes on it. That's what mines is and let me tell you that works better than a short ram and cops wonte see shit. I'll take a picture late and show you what I mean

Intake air temp sensor is informational only. In other words, not needed and shouldn't be contributing to any issues.
