Umm, I had no idea of the cost so we'll put this option on hold for now.

I'm going to take the USDM board to an electronics geek I know. He may be able to figure out why I can't get the variable adjustment to "kick in".

I think I may have firgured out were I made a "wrong turn", although now I don't have a good board to test. I took one apart to see where a couple of traces went and I burned up another.

What I did figure out is how moving resistor R1 changes the direction of the circuit and redirects it through the adjustable stalk. I'm thinking now that when I changed out R1 to a lower value I should have put in a higher value.

I'll try to get to the junk yard this Sunday for another board. Meanwhile check out my new collection of stuff...

I ended up putting back together the board I took apart and it actually worked!

Swapped in a higher value to R1 and it took the delay from 2 seconds, to about 20 seconds, but I still can't get the damned variable to kick in. ARRGGGHH!!!!!

When Datsun_Sky has time he's going to send me a few pics of his board and hopefully I'll be able to spot the difference. Otherwise I'm stumped....

Alrighty! I'll snap some shots of a USDM board, then you can duplicate the same shots of the PHDM board. That should do it.

I'll try to get it done tonight. Thanks!

I need to see the following areas. First two are the same shot, but with the wire moved to the side...

Highest res and biggest pics possible without the plastic cover on the back. Also, the black cover that fits over the round contacts on the opposite side should be off too. It's just held on with grease. Thanks!
